Honorary Membership

EWA awards the Honorary Membership to individuals, who have done a remarkable job in the European water sector.

Honorary Members 2024

On May 13th, during the Council Meeting in Munich, Bjørn Kaare Jensen (DK) and Johannes Lohaus (DE) received the Honorary Membership of the EWA.

Bjørn Kaare Jensen, former President of EWA and a longstanding member of the MC committee, as well as a representative of the Danish Water Forum, was honored for his exemplary leadership and dedication.

Johannes Lohaus was also surprised with the Honorary Membership during the council meeting at IFAT. Johannes served as the Secretary General of EWA from 2004 until his retirement, demonstrating unparalleled commitment and vision in advancing the organization's goals.

Congratulations to them for an outstanding job and support over the years!
