IFAT 2024

From May 13th to 17th, the European Water Association spent the week at IFAT Munich.
Throughout the week, we engaged with our members during our Council Meeting, Executive Director Lunch, Research Member Meeting, and numerous other encounters. The week officially began with our Monday reception, where we enjoyed XYLEM Reuse Brew.
We were also privileged to present at the Blue Stage, discussing:
- Water Reuse - Chance or Meander?
- Strengthening Water Availability through Seawater Desalination
- Invest in Water – Invest in Security
Additionally, we hosted the 21st EWA International Symposium: Water in the Green Deal, a workshop on Water Qualification in Europe: The Challenge Ahead, and the WMCC 2024: Water Management in Changing Conditions.
To kick off IFAT, we also organized three following webinars:
- Water Reuse: Challenges and Opportunities in Europe
- Strengthening Water Availability through Seawater Desalination
- New path of qualification and recruitment in the water sector
